Trin and I had a bet on how much he weighed and since I got kicked out of Safeway for using the produce scale as a baby scale (just kidding) we had no idea how much he weighed. We went to the Dr. yesterday and the little man is not so little anymore. Trin guessed 9lbs 6oz hoping for Price Is Right rules (can't overbid) and I said 9lbs 12oz hoping I didn't overbid.
11lbs 2oz!!!!!!! It is truly amazing that we are accomplishing something else besides being with him when we get to stop our lives and feed him every 2-5 hours. He is actually using the 8 bottles a day to grow! (it is the little things....) So I won the bet since I was close and didn't overbid ;)~ but I am not sure what I won yet!
On a side note......... My wife is now a Mom and I mean that in the best possible way! Though I suspected she would change a bit when she became a Mom, I wasn't even close! SHE IS SPARKLING! Especially when Tucker is near. She continues to amaze me with her nurturing instincts that only Mommy's have. Tucker also knows that if he needs some "comfort" Mom is the place to go, he adores her and I am sure his favorite place is in her arms. She is still my best friend and we have grown immensely these past 9 weeks. I am SO thankful to be on this journey with her and Tucker, it is better than I ever could have imagined. Life is pretty darn good :)
