What a special day. Many friends and family have been asking us if the adoption is "final" and I guess you could say it was approved over a month ago and finalized today. This morning we met at the court house here in Tehama and were granted our adoption by Judge King. It was a wonderfully emotional moment and we took plenty of pictures to remember it by. Almost all of our immediate family members came along to support Tucker on his big day of legally becoming "A Hillard". July 17th will forever be Tucker's special birthday for us.
The first picture is the judge greeting us in the beginning, the second is our family with Judge King after he stated, with a warm smile on his face, that we are "now officially a family". The last picture is of our Attorney Kim and social worker Jerry...these two did a lot for us from day one and we wouldn't have reached this day without them.
Thank you to all who have supported us through the last 8 months, you all have loved Tucker with all your hearts and have showed your love through many different ways. Our hearts are full today and we couldn't ask for a bigger and more wonderful blessing than Tucker.
