Crawling all throughout the house...check.
Furniture Cruising...check.
Mommy's Prince Charming...double check!
You might ask why a Tucker Wednesday? Well, things have been a bit unorganized at the Hillard household as of late. With the move getting closer and so much left to do...we don't have the same routines we have had in the past. Let's take yesterday for instance, I left the house at 5:30AM to catch a flight to So Cal and one of my "bestest" friends watched Tuck during the day and GiGi watched Tucker over night. It was the first time Scott and I both have left Tuck over night...it was very hard. But it couldn't be helped, I had a meeting, we had 3 day cares to interview, and we needed to finalize things on the house we are renting. It was great to spend some time with Scottie in our new area and we know Tuck was in great hands!
Now on to "all about Tucker". Tucker is...Tucker is...well, he is perfectly perfect in every way. (For anyone who has watched Mary Poppins...shout out). He is growing up strong, fun and happy. He loves to walk back and forth along our chairs. He giggles at the sight of the dogs. He eats many different kinds of foods but seems to love "puffs" the best. He has FIVE teeth (well 2 and 3 half way in fighting to see who can arrive first)! He is very talkative lately which I like...when he is quiet it makes me nervous. :) Did I mention he is drinking out of a straw. He doesn't seem to dis-like lemons and if I can get those pics from Sondra I will post them. He loves people! He likes to cuddle ONLY after his evening bottle and right before he goes to bed. He throws everything out of his crib in the mornings but wants it all back before he takes his first nap. He loves hearing his Dad's voice on the speaker phone. He is silent when he is having a BM (that's usually my first clue, the second is the smell). He says Da Da more than Ma Ma but every once in a while I can hear him say it. He loves the sight of Mickey on the TV...but likes the Tigger and Pooh song more than the hot dog dance. He has started to wrinkle his nose and snort when he wants your attention. Oh my...I could go on and on and on. :)
Best of all, Tucker doesn't seem phased by the chaos in our home one bit. We have been trying to go through every drawer, closet, cabinet and clean things up a bit...ya know make sure we aren't moving things we don't want. So, to say the least our house is a mess! Once you take things out it is hard to put them back knowing full well they will be put in a box in less than a week! Still, I feel bad for friends who stop by...they must think to themselves "I can't believe they live like this." I was just telling Scott yesterday, I look forward to putting everything away in the So Cal house and getting back to ZERO CLUTTER! But what am I saying...CLUTTER is the word that best describes a house with a 9 month old! Last Tucker tid bit...Tucker loves to spread each and every toy he owns ALL OVER MY LIVING ROOM. He isn't happy until they are all out of the basket and he has held each one! Boy do we have our work cut out for us. :)
