Daddy had to work today...so Tuck and I decided to have a lazy Columbus Day. We have been hanging out all day, playing with toys and practicing our walking. I think I have mine dialed in but Tucker still needs a bit of practice. The weather here is turning to that wonderful sweatshirt coolness that I love and it is time to put the shorts away and pull out the...overalls? Well, Tuck wears those overalls very handsomely!
The last picture in this set is of Tuck behind the couch. In the last few weeks, with the help of some strategically placed baby gates, Tuck has had the freedom to roam around the bottom floor of the house. A couple of weeks ago I no longer could hear him from the kitchen (which only means two things, 1 he is working on a diaper surprise or 2 he is into something off limits) so I set out to locate him. After a quick look through the family room, the living room and the dinning room I started to panic. I couldn't find him anywhere! I had a baby gate on the stairs so I knew he didn't go up and the door to the laundry room was shut...where could he have gone! All the sudden I can hear him giggle...I honestly felt like he was laughing at me. I looked behind the sofa and got a look not too different from the pic you see here. Today, I thought I would capture that memory.
Have a wonderful Columbus Day with your friends and family everyone!
