Tucker Tuesday: Healthy Checkup

Update on Tucker's health: He is doing great! His last check up was a week ago and he is healthy, strong and asthma is under control. He weighed in at 25lbs and is growing like a weed!

This is such a neat time. He is communicating great, telling us what he wants to eat or drink and letting us know if he is tired or if the diaper is wet (which can only mean he is probably ready to start potty training). Tucker talks non stop and loves to point out choo choo trains, tractors and big trucks when we are in the car. He tells Polly to stay or he loves her. He tells us thank you even when we give him something he doesn't want and he gets so excited when something comes on TV he actually wants to watch. Tucker doesn't sit still for long, he loves to play in his room or bring a toy into the living room to play with. He constantly wants to be outside (hopefully the weather will start cooperating with this desire too). He loves to count and counts his toys up to 10 un-prompted. He likes it when we play the ABC song and we all sing along. Daily he does flash cards or games that help with hand eye coordination and yells "I DID IT!" at the top of his lungs when he gets things right. He is very loving and oh so cuddly right before he looks up to you and says "night, night mamma" which means let's go to bed.

Personal favorite right now: when we are outside and the wind blows in his face he tucks his cheeks into the crook of your neck and says "its cold mamma, its cold". Melts my heart every time!
