Memorial Weekend was so much fun! Unfortunately Daddy had to work for the weekend, so Mommy and Tucker had a fun line up of outings, great friends and wonderful food. :) We wouldn't have had it any other way! First, Tuck and I took in a Texas Rangers game. It was awfully hot, but we made it fun with hot dogs, lots of cold water and of course a lot of cheering for the home team! Next we went to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. Tucker got to explore the fish ponds, walk around tons of flowers and trees and even got to climb the highest set of stairs EVER (see picture of rose garden, we were at the bottom with the water at one point). And last, but not least, was Sushi dinner with Megan! Tucker loves sushi night and he loves his friend Megan! They shared Edamame and he showed her how good he is with chop sticks. :) We had a great weekend (even though we were missing Daddy).
To all our soldiers out there: past, present and future, thank you for making a weekend like this possible. WE appreciate your sacrifice. Love, the Hillards.
