Tucker is now 13 weeks and 3 days old. He is officially into the 3rd month everyone talks about. You know, the one where they talk, smile and start to have tons of fun. Well, he is having TONS of fun. He talks all day long...even when he is starting to fall asleep he is chattering away in his bed. He weighs 12.5 pounds and is about 22.5 inches long. He smiles non-stop and we don't have to do the hand tickle thing anymore!
This last week I returned to work. Tucker had his first cold and with the cough we decided to juggle our schedules so we could stay home with him. He did spend Friday at Grandma's house and had a great time! He was awake and talking most the day from what I hear. :)
He now sleeps 9 hours each night, usually from 8:30 - 5:30. After the 5:30 feeding he will usually go back down for a couple of hours but then wants to get up and play. He has a few "rings" that he loves to hold on to. He likes to pass them back and forth in his hands and stares at them for long periods of time. It seems like he is saying "hey, how did that get there?" He still loves bath time and loves his massages (as long as you sing) each night too. In the mornings before I leave for work I usually get a smile and if he isn't too tired at night I get one too. He loves hanging out with his Daddy. They have long detailed talks about...well, I have no idea what about (pretty sure Scottie doesn't either).
We are very proud of how he is doing. It is amazing to watch him...we get little done around the house because that is what we prefer to do all day. :) Tucker is by far the coolest part of our lives and we are so blessed.
